"Does Poker Sharpener collect or share personal information?",
"We are very serious about protecting your privacy. Poker Sharpener does not transmit or share any personal information or information pertaining to your poker play. Your poker data and database are stored locally on your machine and can be password protected.

Poker Sharpener automatically checks the web for software updates. In doing so it transmits Poker Sharpener version information to the update server so it can compare it to the newest version. If an update is available you are given the option to download and install it.

Poker Sharpener does at times transmit licensing and machine identification information to assist in enforcing our licensing model. This helps us ensure that licenses are not shared or stolen. The information we send contains a product identification number along with a numeric identifier that uniquely and anonymously lets us identify licenses that are used on too many different machines.

At times Poker Sharpener may encounter a problem, mainly due to poker site changes. When this happens you will be given the option to send a problem report log to us for diagnosis. This is completely optional and is NEVER done without your consent. If you elect to send the problem report it may contain hand information for the hands that encountered the problem. This information is never used for any purpose other than diagnosing the problem, and is not shared, nor will it be kept or recorded after it is used."])

From the lobby or the poker table click the 'Options' button and select 'Store Hand Histories Locally'. The dealer chat needs to be visible so from the same options button make sure that either 'Side Chat' or 'Table Chat' is selected. Some Microgaming poker rooms may have slightly different methods for getting to the Hand History options, but most are as follows. Make sure that either 'Store Hand History for the Last x Days' or 'Store Hand History for the Last x Hands' has a check beside it, and click the 'Save Settings' button.
